Tenuta Barbadoro is located on Via Volterrana, one of the most fascinating roads in Tuscany, which in ancient times connected the ancient Etruscan city of Volterra with Florence. The company stands at an altitude of 200m above sea level, on a panoramic hill near Montespertoli, with a 360 ° view of the 60 hectares of the property, of which 36 are planted with vineyards with different varieties of native grapes (Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino, etc.) and international grapes (Marlot, Cabernet, Petit Verdot, etc.). The story of Barbadoro and his love for wine has five generations behind it: it was born in 1860 with the founder Serafino, in 1945 his son Ottavio founded the current Tenuta Barbadoro which is subsequently run with passion by the heirs until today. From generation to generation, the love for the quality of the products has always led to the pursuit of excellence but always with respect for nature, and this is how Tenuta Barbadoro has been producing its excellent wines in a certified ORGANIC way since 2007.
